A request asking if a Clubhouse is in the future for VPHOA was broached via NextDoor. The current Board has actually discussed whether or not this would be possible and tabled the item as more research would be needed to determine costs and feasibility. Some of that discussion included the following: If a Clubhouse were to ever be erected, it is a certainty that HOA fees would minimally TRIPLE (if not more) to cover the costs AND the Clubhouse could only be used if an hourly service fee and deposit is paid by the homeowner requesting it's use. It would NOT be an option for renters in the community. It also would NOT be open access to homeowners who have not paid to reserve it for use. It would also not be available to homeowners with any delinquency. I'll add that it would not be used as a "hang-out" spot for anyone. I hope that this answers the question broached. Also, we welcome dialog on this topic and the possible ramifications of adding a clubhouse. Please chime in. Thank you.
